Remtem is a small studio of illustrators, letterers and stitchers making stationery and apparel by hand — one hand-drawn design at a time.
Every piece starts as a drawing on paper.
Remtem started in a room of her parents house in 2015. The purpose began with having too many talents and skills. No job would satisfy all that talent. The artist recognized issues that needed to be addressed. That is: everyone is creative, not just artists. Remtem wanted to give these creatives a space and products that helped solve solutions around us through art and design.
All arts are first deisnged by hand on paper, scanned and than printed on paper depending on the type of product and use it will be for.
The first product that was launched were 40 bookmarks at a well known bookshop at the time in Lahore. All 40 sold out in 2 days time. Remtem never stopped after that.
Remtem is Pakistani-made, Lahore-born, and built around one belief — that the things you write with should be worth holding.
